The Nightmare

Not to long ago, I had a nightmare. I have never had a nightmare about my daughter, my husband, or any other family member or friend die before. This particular nightmare scared me and to this day, I am still saddened by it.

Mipsy: My best friend through thick and thin. Ever since I got her as a puppy, she has never left my side.

The dream started as, I was walking through the park. Everyone walked passed me, talking and laughing amongst themselves. As I continued to walk, I came upon a man, his teen daughter, and their dog in the park. At first I thought it was sweet, until I realized it was my family: Alan, Kaitlynne, and Mipsy. They were older. Why were they older? The last thing I had remembered was Kaitlynne being a toddler. I tried calling to them, but my voice had no sound. No one could hear me. At least so I thought. As I was calling out, I had noticed Mipsy could hear me. She slowly started to walk over to me; her body looked so frail and she looked so old. Her fur, when I last seen it, was a dark grayish black color.. Now it was grayish white and her eyes looked so tired. Her legs could barely hold her. I called louder to my family, trying to make them hear me. Mipsy tried her hardest to move faster until… She laid down. She closed her eyes and quietly passed away. After seeing this, I had dropped to my knees.. Crying. I couldn’t hold her, I couldn’t touch her, no one could hear me. I sobbed silently but when I opened my eyes; she was gone. I then heard a cheerful yipping sound, the yip I know now. As I turned, I seen the young Mipsy I know now. There was so much life in her eyes and of course we were together.

Yeah. I had woke up from that dream bawling. I woke my husband up and everything. Mipsy had nuzzled close to me as well and licked my tears away. I love my Mipsy. :) People might think I am a weirdo or whatever the sort, but I don't care.

This is my furbaby best friend.
